Dr. Tiffany Burney is an accomplished educational executive and organizational leader with more than 20 years of experience spanning district leadership, human resources, exceptional student services, special education, school administration, and organizational improvement. A charter member of the Georgia Alliance of Black School Educators (GA-ABSE), Dr. Burney has served the organization in key leadership roles, including President-Elect and Treasurer, demonstrating her commitment to advancing educational excellence, equity, and opportunities for Black educators and students.

Throughout her career, Dr. Burney has led complex educational initiatives focused on aligning systems, strengthening compliance, streamlining workflows, reducing organizational redundancies, developing talent, and strategically aligning resources and budgets with organizational priorities. Her leadership is grounded in the belief that strong systems, effective leaders, and intentional collaboration are essential to creating sustainable outcomes for students and communities.

Dr. Burney earned her Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Special Education and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. She is also a proud U.S. Army Veteran and an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, and the National Alliance of Black School Educators.

A passionate advocate for educational leadership and organizational excellence, Dr. Burney remains committed to strengthening the pipeline of Black educators and leaders, building sustainable educational systems, and creating opportunities that empower the next generation.
