OVERVIEW

The Georgia Alliance of Black School Educators (GA-ASBE) invites you to submit a workshop proposal for the 2025 Educational Summit. This year’s summit is dedicated to advancing innovative, engaging workshop-style presentations that provide actionable strategies and tools for educators and leaders across various educational roles.

Important Notes:

  • Workshops Only: This call for proposals is exclusively for interactive workshop sessions. No lecture-style presentations will be accepted.
  • Session Duration: Each workshop is limited to 75 minutes (1 hour and 15 minutes) and must actively engage participants with hands-on activities, strategies, or discussions.
  • Aligned with Strands: Workshops must align with one of the designated conference strands outlined below and provide practical outcomes for attendees.

CONFERENCE STRANDS

Transformational Teaching & Leadership
This strand highlights approaches that empower educators and leaders to drive meaningful change in schools and communities.

Technology & AI
This strand explores the integration of cutting-edge technologies and artificial intelligence into education.

Career Sustainability, Culture & Wellness
This strand focuses on strategies to ensure the longevity, well-being, and professional growth of educators.

Open Strand
This strand is open to focus on innovative practices that educators find relevant and practical for our new normal and 21st-century learning environment.
