William C. Wade, EdS, is a dedicated educator whose career spans diverse roles and locations. A Hyde Park Career Academy graduate, William pursued his passion for urban education at Coahoma Junior College and later at Alcorn State University, where he majored in Secondary Mathematics Education. His career began as a middle school math teacher in Clarksdale, MS, followed by a position at Wooddale High School in Memphis, TN, where he excelled both in teaching and coaching. William earned his M.Ed from Christian Brothers University and his EdS from Lincoln Memorial University while serving various roles in Atlanta Public Schools, including Math teacher, coach, and Assistant Principal. He then moved to Philadelphia, where he transformed three high schools as a Turnaround Principal and contributed to the acclaimed documentary “We Could Be King.” His successes led him to roles in Santa Fe, NM, and Pittsburgh, PA, before returning to his roots at Coahoma Community College and currently serving as Principal at Booker T. Washington High School in Georgia.across the country.
