Tiffany Burney, Ed.S. is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in leadership and special education. As a charter member of GA-ABSE, she currently serves as the President-Elect and Treasurer. Tiffany holds an Educational Specialist degree in leadership, an MPA in emergency management, and certifications in Special Education for Behavior and Learning Disabilities, with a reading endorsement. Her career spans roles such as special education teacher, special education director, assistant principal, director of education, veteran of the U. S. Army and currently, Supervisor of HR and Exceptional Children Services. Tiffany is also an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, and the National Alliance of Black School Educators.

In her current role as Supervisor of Human Resources and Exceptional Children Services, Tiffany leads efforts to recruit, retain, and develop top educational talent, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations related to special education. She oversees staff professional development, performance management, and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing student support services. Her commitment to fostering inclusive, high-quality learning environments extends across her responsibilities, ensuring that both students and staff thrive under her leadership.
